1981 Early Computer Graphics
this video was shown to Disney Executives in early 1981; it is what convinced them to go ahead with the leading edge movie "TRON". It was a compilation of different programmers from the company called Triple I (Information International Inc.) This was way ahead of its time in many ways, CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) was still brand new at this level and most people had never imagined computer graphics of this complexity. Even though "TRON" was not a commercial success, it helped CGI enter the film industry in a way that is taken for granted today. Super computers of that era were used to create the graphics (PDP-10, Cray)

Cool Computer Program
Please read this before you message me! People keep messaging me the same question so I will post the answer here:This program is from MIT and it's called "Assist Sketch Understanding System and Operation". You can't buy it or download it.
This is a program that uses physics to allow you to draw objects and have them interact with each other. It's hard to explain. You need to see it to understand.

The Computer Thingymabobber
I also forgot to clarify (do to angry neck-veins and the pure pissed-offedness surging through them)that my entire computer has pretty much been labeled as obsolete by the rather Milton-from-Office-Space looking guy at my local computer shop. Needs a completely new motherboard, and as I need that, a faster processor, more RAM and a quieter case (to stifle the daily "OMG YOUR COMP IS SO LOUD" fucking comments), I'm going to end up building a whole new computer.
